Well it's not me mentioning "judas" in multiple threads a week.

    I'm guessing it's you.

More money, a team in a higher division, bigger ground more money to spend. Of course it's a better job even if you stop at more money.

A team at the time in a better division, the top division in England, paid more money.

I'd say it was a better job for him at the time.

I wouldn't have taken it, but Danny is a football manager, not a die hard reds fan.

No he was offered a higher paid job and took it. What part of that don't you understand? Do you still loyally do exactly the same job as you did when you left school?

No but I did for 30 years

And I did have opportunities to leave for considerably more, but no they gave me a chance so I owed them

I work elsewhere now and will I look elsewhere whilst employed by them
No will I chuff as again they gave me a chance too.... I could go contracting and earn 5 times more but I would be breaking the trust installed in me

commendable. your view that a football team is more important than a wife or partner though - that's just weird

No he took a promotion. He was offered a job on more money in a higher league working for a previous employer whom he got on with. It was also a post that meant he didn't need to relocate his family.

All football teams are corrupt to one extent or another. Our own for example went into administration and left small businesses hanging for the money (something that Wednesday didn't do) If you don't see that more money and a team in a higher division is a better job then you're just daft.

So they betrayed you? After the loyalty you showed them.

You really need to wake up and realise, it's just football.

So they betrayed you then. My dad worked down the pit for 25 years they got shut of him and thousands like him without a minutes care that's where loyalty gets you. That's real life.

It's just 22 blokes running after a ball it's not real life you know just a bit of entertainment. I'm a fairly hard core supporter but football plays a minuscule part of my life. You need to gain perspective.

When I read this, it really made me wonder why we put ourselves through this... Anyone have an answer or is it just cos we're all a bit thick?
