    As manager.
Me personally, I'm fed up of changing manager every season when we a bad spell, although the board hasn't helped anyone in some of their past appointments. I'm not afraid to admit I wanted Mickey Mellon to be given the job last time, but Wilson has to stay no matter what the results.

The Board has made some horrendous decisions, but that is with hindsight.

    I would say Tony Mowbray.

I agree. And the problem is no potential manager will fancy the job knowing the minute we're struggling he'll be gone. We have to show some patience surely?

Would Scholes get out of bed for what we pay?

My opinion on that one is that you're dreaming. Maybe I'm wrong.

I want to say I'm behind Wilson, I really do. But I really honestly don't think he will turn it round. I hope he proves me wrong but I just don't think he has the appetite for it anymore. If we're out of the cup and in the bottom 4 come the new year he isn't going to survive.

Wilson's current tenure has been an unmitigated disaster and it would be madness to allow him to persist making the same mistakes week in week out, but the board have appointed some real duds over the last decade and have to accept responsibility as well.
We need stability but until we get better displays and performances, no matter who is in charge, the managerial merry go round will persist.
It's how it is in this day and age.

    Let's think of eggs.
    They have no legs.
    Chickens come from eggs,
    But they have legs.
    The plot thickens:
    Eggs come from chickens
But have no legs under 'em.
    What a conundurum!

Scholes would be a good shout to be fair but is he really someone we need at this moment in time? I don't think so as Wilson can still give is what we want and needs to be given another few weeks in my opinion.

We did right not giving Mellon the job. He did a brilliant job at Fleetwood in League 2 before getting sacked but he was cut from the same cloth as Flitcroft and we needed a complete change. I always liked Mellon and I would have him back now but at that moment in time, it was right to change it totally.

Would Cooper drop out of a potential promotion push until a relegation battle?

    No
