There's a lot wrong with him. Can't pass, too slow on the ball, gets lost in a game and his fitness is terrible.
suffering from the Neil Austin syndrome** Physically advanced of his year group therefore looked great at every level until he got to 18 and everyone caught him up. He was then found out to be average at best ** ive just made this up
I'd actually say the one thing he's really good at is passing, the rest of his game is lacking big time though & definitely too slow on the ball
I was a little critical with that comment, it's based on the fact that as a young 17 year old he was pinging them all over the field almost as if it was second nature whereas now he dwells on the ball too long and either gets caught or makes a dodgy pass right to one of the other sides wingers.
I think his best games came in pre-season friendlies when he had lots of time on the ball and was under no real pressure. Has looked so slow and immobile in the last few league games I've seen him in. Would love him to come good but I'm losing hope. Perhaps 10-15 games in the conference/League 2 would do him good. See if he can handle consistent proper football.
Ye I'd go along with that. Seems to want forever on the ball. It's probably why he does well at international level for the England youth teams where players stand off you & give you time
Fitness. Dwells to long on the ball. Dispossessed easily. Tries silly things in dangerous areas. Not made any progress in 2 years. Other than that he's smashing.
Only way to gain fitness is to play games... He is hot prospect and needs to be playing... I am convinced that if he were at any other club in the division he would be in their first XI... but yet DW persists with James Bailey who has not yet shown us why he derserves starting place in the side IMHO. The kid is England youth... and before we know it, he will leave for nothing. Join another club, who will play him and develop him into a £1m+ player... Same said for RNL... In recent times we seem to be unable to develop players from academy to first XI.
Cranie was an England youth. It means **** all. You can't trust Digby to play. Simple as that, he costs goals every time.
