Definitely not. I thought he was very average and at times poor. Good to see him shooting again though.
I thought he did OK. He got stuck in well and played some good balls. Almost scored but for a superb finger tip save
from what i saw 7 out of 10, which is an improvement the 4-4-2 system clearly benefited all our midfielders ... hopefully Danny has made a note of that
Not at his best but much improved from the last 5 or 6 games, albeit against a conference side. Berry was our standout player tonight, won the ball numerous times, spread the play and drove us forward, as he will have done many times for Cambridge last season against similar opposition. Hopefully he can take that into our league games.
I'd go with ok. T ends to drift in and out and blame others for his errors but a definite improvement having Jennings to make runs for him.
In general I quite like Berry but I do wish he'd stop giving the ball away so often. Hourihane is quality in my opinion but he will never be the type to completely win over Reds fans. Hasn't got the sweat and blood I'll tackle anything work ethic you see. Sort of reminds me of the Billy Ronson vs Ronnie Glavin debate. Or, for younger fans, Paddy vs Dawson.
i actually saw him win a header! hes still a wuss though. Doesnt like to tackle. However he looked a little better than of recent last night.
I think from what little i've seen that we need a little domination from one (or both!) of our central midfielders. Take the game by the scruff of the neck and either pass teams to pieces or deny the opposition the ball. It seems we're not doing enough of one or the other? It makes you realise how lucky we were to have Redfearn play for us for all that time.
The defensive side of his game was an improvement last night for me, cant think of much to criticise on his attacking this season, maybe he had a spell where he was a bit greedy on the shooting front but he was in such good form and then he had spell where he would pass rather than shoot, but am being picky there. I would like to see more of him defensively gettin goal side and putting in more tackles, like last night, and reacting quicker when he loses the ball rather than looking to the gods or pointing at others and laying blame.
