Will clap for his great achievement! But after the game is another story.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm hoping there will be some sort of pitchside presentation before the kick off. I'm sure one of the non-working members of the 1000 game club could come along to Oakwell and do the presentation. After all, he will be the only one in the Football League I think, as the others are all in the Premiership.
There has to be something announced before kick off and fans should respect that and have a chance to applaud
i'm expecting some kind of presentation thing. probably. and if the players can't get up for this one, there's summat seriously wrong.
I don't think it should be announced. It's a fantastic achievement but only a quarter of the games were with us so it would seem strange applauding what he's achieved the majority at with other clubs. We need a league win desperately and the concentration should be on that happening rather than the milestone. If we win just give a bigger response at full time when it's all over. Would be odd making a meal of it if we are getting booed off 45 minutes later losing at half time.
This has come as a bit of a shock to me..........I didn't know he was gay. It obviously doesn't matter as long as he gets us the results
Sorry mate, I can't agree with that. If it was the manager in the opposite dugout getting presented with something to commemorate 1000 games I would give him clap, so I'm most certainly going to be giving Danny some applause. Then again, I won't be booing 45 minutes later, whatever the score. I won't be happy if we're not playing well, but I'll save my booing for the pantomime on Sunday. Or the referee. I don't mind booing refs.
I agree. I've taken the same stance with my relationship with me mam. I'm one of 4 siblings, so I reckon she only spent 25% of her time looking after me. The majority of her time was spent looking after the other 3. And that's not including the time she devoted to herself and her own life. So, I've never thanked her for owt.
