As this lad got springs He's got a great leap on him Wins 90% of headers Going to be a great player The academy are doing a great job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes had a good game today had jobi macanuff to contend with and did well good to see young lads like that coming through
I like the way he plays everything simple. This makes most of what he does effective. His confidence is also growing and made some good rampages down the line too. Good prospect.
He seems to read the game well. Spotted danger and left his position to put in covering headers on quite a few occasions
Way he's been playing he's gotta be one of the first names on the team sheet. Could have been given MOTM today. Well played to Danny for dropping Brown instead of Holgate for Lewin to come back in.
Makes an established plsyer, likr Craine, look like a complete begginer in that role, doesnt he??????
I said to my wing man Guddy today all of the above 'great leap', 'keeps it simple', 'doesn't look outta place for one do young', 'very athletic', 'very composed' take a bow Rizzle Kicks 'ead. Another cracking game Mase!
Quality again. Love the lads composure. I'd say he's definitely performed better at RB than Bree & Brown have
Totally agree. So composed for a young, inexperienced kid. At the time when we really need our Academy to come up trumps with new players they're doing exactly that.
Bit harsh on Bree. He performed just as well IMO. Bree is a midfielder though so maybe when he's fit we might have the other wide midfielder to play on the right while Jennings does the left.
Honestly it's not a dig at Bree at all. I think for a 16 year old kid Bree was brilliant and he played a lot better there than Brown. I just think Holgate's looked better than both, especially defensively. His positioning & reading of the game is a lot better probably because Bree's come through as a midfielder
And Holgate as come through as a centre half so you'd expect his positioning & awareness to be better then a wing back anyway
