We all watch the games and identify different aspects of both good a bad areas of play. Many have a certain 'bug bare' be it the keepers kicking, poor set pieces etc etc. Well mine is .....

Short 4-5-6 yard passes that don't make their destination. It does my man t1ts in. There were a few yesterday, either getting intercepted, played too far in front, or behind, or at the wrong pace. A good few yesterday by Berry, Bailey, Connor amongst others could have opened the midfield wide open and helped us instigate an attack. Just an observation, we've all got them. All round solid performance yday. Just gripes me that it's the first drill you ever learn when starting training as a kid. DW was an expert at it aswell, win or intercept the ball, look up and find a usually easy ball and let the players play.

    Anyway UTR

Ps a blowk who used to sit near us had his main gripe was that we didn't leave 3 up front when defending corners?!?

Ill be surprised if you get anyone arguing against you an that they like misplaced short passes.

I hate any mistake. However my lad quickly points out the League were in and the age and experience of the players, and especially how i moan at everything. I then get a little more tolerant lol

Agree.. on 2 points, league 1 players, some non-league. But not on age, remember seeing Man U kids in pre-season, they never put a foot wrong.

All about where we are in the football pyramid Im afraid

My frustration at any level of football is that it's the most fundamental of skills. One which is amongst the first any 4 year old will practice in training/coaching. Mistakes are inevitable at any level of footy. It just frustrates when they're simple ones.

got to say, i enjoyed the game yesterday. controlled it for 90 mins really, even with 10 men. two great goals, clean sheet, looked balanced and cohesive, and they all put a shift in. apart from bailey, who never does. i wouldn't be making any changes to that back four either, unless injuries or suspension force it. holgate looks every bit the part. with bree and cowgirl as well, the yoof looks bright. i really hope digby starts to push on..

I thought it was hourihane who was lazy yesterday. Walking around while everyone else was busting a gut. At one point he passed to nyatanga then turned his back on him for no reason.

Aye hes got all the ability. Maybe if he used it for 90 minutes not 1 we'd be in a better league position. The question is does being able to show a moment of magic every other game excuse a lack of effort the rest of the time? Connor McCourt anyone?

I've gotta be honest, I've never detected the 'lazy' side of his game. The busting runs from midfield beyond their defence would suggest otherwise

Gi'or wi thi sen, **** sake.

He's a very good footballer and been an absolute steal at £200,000. He's got areas of his game that need working on, but he's got some pretty big assets.

I've seen some on facebook saying things like 'take away his goals and his assists and he's not much good'

Aye so apart from doing what he's in the team to do, he's ****!

    Bonkers

Probably the same people who were saying 'take away all the saves Steele made and he's ****!'

Without him we would be well adrift at the bottom of the table it's as simple as that.

Is it bang on though? We wouldn't have played with 10 men without him. Someone else may have played in his position and done just as well. If we hadn't signed him we may have signed someone else who may have had an even bigger impact. Who knows?

Just playing devil's advocate. I really like CH.
