I guessing they vented their anger at the start of the match, I can't really remember but I know when he came over towards us clapping some idiots where shouting a few nasty things such as F off you useless c F off back to Wednesday ya c and such like can't remember if it was start of game or warm up might even have been half time but it was definitely when he came to get in net at our end at start of one of halves

 

Think the key word in that sentences is idiots

 

Anyone who boo their own players are idiots imo, but debating it in a pub canteen at work or on a Internet forum is what football is all about, it's been done for years and speaking to and arguing with other fans is what makes watching **** games worth while at times, and because peoples opinions differ we'll always find something to talk about

No not at all this his a place is for opinions on the players good and bad it's what the forums for if its going to up set people then don't read it

I went to Fleetwood about 3 planks having a pop at Davires. Typical Neanderthals. Lots an excellent prospect to me not quite ready yet but a very able deputy.

 

1. Treacy - looks a shadow of the player I've seen in the past. Either lacking fitness or effort or maybe both

2. Lita

3. Brown

 

There was a keeper who a few years ago was the same age as Davies and he was slated for making mistakes and some "fans" were saying he wasn't good enough for their club.

Fast forward to now and many regard him as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, this being De Gea.

Writing off a keeper at such a young age may well make you looking like a right muppet in a few years, if not already.

 

Seems ok to me...thought he did okay, yes at times a bit shakey but hes a young kid learning his trade......maybe cos hes ex wednesday folk like to have a pop

Davies has done fine for me. Had a poor afternoon against MK Dons but that apart, I think he's proved his worth. His handling was sound on Saturday albeit for a short time on the pitch. Away at Yeovil, he was absolutely outstanding - nearly won us the game second half, took an own goal to beat him. Turnbull, for me, has been no better or worse. Two decent keepers IMHO.

 

He literally hasn't though has he.

He made a few mistakes in pre-season, granted. In the league, he's barely put a foot wrong. There's sticking to your guns and there's just talking *****, you're doing the latter.

 

He's NIGHTMARE. Without a doubt in my mind.

I cant believe this guy, I really can't. Davies is 21 years old and had never played a competitive fixture in his career prior to playing against Crawley, and on that alone I think the lads been terrific! Fans at oakwell have an irritating habit of singling out players with little experience and forgetting all the other great saves or stops or whatever they make in a game and always remember the odd mistake.

It's like me when I got my first job at 16, I made a few mistakes and a few bad decisions but 99% of the time I got it right and that's exactly how I see davies' performances. Keepers are always going to be the villain at some stage, but davies? Not for me, he came in and did a really good job! He's an excellent 2nd choice keeper to have. Why not try and get behind a young keeper? I know full well had he come through our academy your views on him would have been very different.

 

I'll have another look at him tomorrow and I'll give my honest opinion on him again if he's ***** again I'll say so not going pretend he's been good just because he's young

 

Dunno but he got it all the way through the first half. Called a C for not coming for the ball, Wednesday ****er for not catching the ball. Things like that. Much better in the second half when he was at the other end of the pitch away from his own supporters.
