    More snow forecast today, according to the BBC, with temperatures not rising above 2 degrees until Wednesday.

    Well unless something drastic happens there's very little chance that me and my daughter are going to brave the snow and traipse over to Oakwell to sit in the cold. It's not as if we'd be guaranteed a feast of football.

    Where have all these injuries appeared from? Christmas period? Is it just me that thinks we have players that are taking the piss?

    No, I think we have a couple at least that are royally taking the pi55 and I don't just mean by tactical injuries.

    Could well be because the early days of next week are supposedly going to be colder than it is now. Wouldn't bother me if it gets called off till a later date.

    Probably more in danger because of the "surrounding areas" rather than the state of the pitch. I'm starting to think that undersoil heating is a waste of money if the fans can't be trusted to get safely into the ground without slipping on their arse/making a claim for damages

    undersoil heating is the biggest waste of time going, what's the point of having a clear playing surface if the surrounding areas are deemed 'unsafe'?

    Sincerely hope not. Calgary Tyke over with her kids and looking forward to this game in particular. Her husband is an Oldham fan, and so their kids are mascots for Barnsley & Oldham. I know they will all be gutted if the game is off. They've travelled 3000 miles from a place where they are used to snow, to visit family, and watch this particular game. I've got my fingers crossed that it's on.

    I reckon it's certain to be off due to roads & paths around Oakwell being treacherous. It's good from the point of view of our injury situation but Oldham are in shocking form so we're missing out there. Could also find ourselves very close to the bottom 4 particularly as we're also in the cup next Saturday.

    I live 100yds from ground. Side streets and surrounding are horrendous. All iced over to buggery now. No sign of a gritter or attempts to clear?!?
