And I think we can all bloody guess - no attempt to clear car park - no communication at all - they will announce at 530 tomorrow it's off on 'police advice' just after the Oldham fans have set off - I've said it before and il say it again the people in charge at oakwell are as hopeless as they are clueless
Can the club call it off independently or do we have to wait for an official (FA, referee, police, etc) to make the decision? The club might be as in the dark at this stage as we are.
Surely the referee can only state if pitch is playable - and surely bfc will have had under soul heating on won't they..... Oh hang on
Yes, but if the club genuinely wanted the game to go ahead they'd be busy getting the car park cleared. I reckon they're pretty happy to see the game postponed.
Have you got a time machine? Blaming them for summat yet to happen. Lotto numbers would be appreciated. Cheers.
If the match was toneet it'd be off. I've just hobbled darn onto Grove St. Roads ok and fairly clear due to residents, but the clear bits that are damp are icing over as we speak. All pathways still as they were n iced snow standing. No attempts to clear the car park although small patches are disappearing. A night of frost toneet and that's it I reckon.
A couple if bags of grit thrown onto car park and it'll be gone - the club want this game off - I might bob down in night and grit it myself see what they say to that
It should be on, IF the club make an effort. If it is postponed then the club deserve all the criticism that comes their way
Getting angry about something that hasn't and might not happen. Okay then Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Why are you having such a hissy fit?! If the game is on it's on, if it's off it's off, seriously some people love to moan about everything!
Its the surrounding areas the problem not the ground! So for this reason the game will be off! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The ref called off the Blunts game because of conditions in the area approaching the ground, not the state of the pitch.
Think you'd need to do all of Grove Street as well as that road that leads up from the flyover and then back down to the ground. I think the real danger is if it rains though, it will sit on top of the snow, freeze, and then become a slippy as f*ck layer of ice, I've just walked to the shop seeing as my car is encased in a big snow ball and it wasn't bad at all, just crunchy under foot, not particularly slippy.
