I've been to plenty of games when it's been below freezing.

I remember a third round cup tie at Glanford Park in January 2010 - snow everywhere. Well below freezing. 2,200 Barnsley fans made the trip.

If the club wanted to they would have got the game on.

You don't believe I'm including you in this, do you?

Mate, you're a knobhead but not on this topic. :)

But seriously, I'm just staggered at a handful on here who've posted some right ballax. Yes, there's little things that if you add up together can result in a bit of conspiracy or kidology. But folk are missing the point. It's been called off by an external force. A referee. He deemed the surface unplayable/unsafe because the pitch is frozen after three nights of freezing conditions following a deluge of snow. It's a night game. It's going to be freezing tonight. He's decided that it's not safe to play football on. Whether the snow is shifted is irrelevant. On or off pitch. Freezing conditions forced his decision. Not snow.

Referee called it off, pal. Are you saying we forced him to postpone it?

    Thank God for that.

    Please post more often. Seriously.

Maybe they didn't make the decision difficult enough for him.

Well I agree with Whitey, the likes of Conan, Sambora etc etc just moan at everything....They love it!!! And IMO they are very sad individuals.Even Sambora predicted yesterday that the game would be postponed and had a go at the club.

Its like they wanted it to be postponed so they can have a great moan.

    Grow up, get a life...

Dear Mr W Hitey, why are you staggered at people posting ballax on here....as most of what you post is indeed said ballax.

Long winded ballax n all !

As for the game tonight, I don't care, but the constant spin that the club comes out with, expecting people to believe it is rather patronising I feel.

    Here is another conspiracy.

Could it be that certain posters want the match on. So that our depleted squad as it is happen to lose. An so the Wilson bashing brigade can also continue.

I can't be arsed to go through hundreds of posts to match up. But it's a thought.

Just a few points from my side:-

    1. Yes it is only a football match and will get re-arranged
    2. I do not believe BFC had any intention of trying to get the game on
    3. I believe BFC have been very sparse with the truth
    4. If we have under-soil heating, why hasn't this done its job (especially as it is specificed to Premiership standards - would a Man Utd or Liverpool fixture have been postponed under same circumstances?)

    And last but not least......

    5. The Gospel that is Whitey is free to call other folk knobheads and then make excpetions when people dare to question him. Other people have been banned for much much less, but of course, are not in the clickety click, so its easier to ban them
