8th goal in 17 games this season for Orient. Would have loved him alongside Winnall for us. And before the haters hate, he's better than bloody Lita/Trotta and at this time, Hemmings. Tried hard. Wasn't good enough for the league we were in. He wasn't the only one we've had over the years by a long chalk mind
For me, we let Scotland go too early. Not saying he'd have kept us up last season, but he'd have certainly contributed more at the latter end of the season up front than Proschwitz, Pedersen and Cywka (admittedly out of position).
Good player Dagnall, laiked wi his heart on his sleeve every game. I was gutted for him when he missed that pen at Wembley for Orient. However I think him and Winnall are pretty similar players, so I don't think they'd av really worked well together. Could've done wi him since Winnalls be out tho!
Tried his heart out the lad. Wasn't championship level, but has a good record in 3rd tier. Personally don't want him back, but wish him well.
Cole alongside Winnall but you missed him off. We were never gonna keep Dagnall while in Championship. Let's move on.
I thought the majority of people were remarkably patient with him and appreciated what he brought to the team, ultimately not good enough for the Championship but I don't remember that many people being happy to see him go.
I just think that like many of our squad under Hill / Flitcroft he was slightly out of his depth in the championship but capable at league one level. If we somehow knew we'd be relegated in the summer then in an ideal world we could've loaned him out for a year and had a proven league 1 striker fit & firing for us back in August. Always glad to see him do well though, him & Perkins are two lads I'll never slate, they gave everything for the club
