Just been reading through them to see if I know any of them ...........there's a guy from Barnsley who has got an OBE for work in the community Is it our very own JD ???
Sure it is him. He's one of four trustees in a charity giving community access to sport based in Grimethorpe. John Arnold Dennis.
If anyone deserves an award its Bruce Dyer, work on the Christian community, prisons, kids soccer. Remained in Barnsley after a long football career here and putting loads back into the community. How do we nominate?
Oh that's good then..........JD deserves an award for the work he did at Barnsley Football Club And yes I do know that it went wrong in the end..........but it was only because he was desperate to keep the club in the spot light I think he's a great bloke JD.........and its just a pity that him and Pat never worked together.....they would have made a great team........in more ways than one
Linvoy primus got an MBE, I believe Bruce and him are great friends and do a lot of charity work together
Four...Quadrilat....IVth.....Quadruplicated - got there in the end Well done JD....just the legend aka Norman now....please
Speyk for thissen.... quadruplicate verb past tense: quadruplicated; past participle: quadruplicated kwɒˈdruːplɪkeɪt/ multiply (something) by four. make or provide in quadruplicate. Origin mid 17th century: from Latin quadruplicat- ‘quadrupled’, from the verb quadruplicare, from quadruplex, quadruplic- ‘fourfold’, from quadru- ‘four’ + plicare ‘to fold’. Translate quadruplicated to Use over time for: quadruplicated
doesn't the system allow anyone to nominate someone they think worthy of an Honour? the reason Rimmo has never got on is presumably because no one has nominated him??
Be my (and everyone else's)guest https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/nominate-someone-for-a-uk-national-honour
Just an afterthought Maybe someone oughta ask JD to nominate him? .....might add a bit more weight like.....not that I'm calling JD ovverweight (pot & kettle)..Al shurrup nar
