@TransferCentNow: West Ham bad boy Ravel Morrison looks set to be released by mutual consent with the midfielder heading to Barnsley. #whufc
“@TransferCentNow: Bournemouth want Barnsley FC winger Dale Jennings. #afcb ” who? Is this another or rumour no 1?
Just love these rumours this time of year. I guess this one isn't his agent otherwise Barnsley would be replaced by Real Madrid. I'm not a fan of transfer 'windows' but this rumour mill certainly adds some fun this time of year. I'm not sure many of these tweets have come true btw.
Just had a look on Twitter, this one.... @Andy__White: BREAKING: Emanuel Frimpong, Brek Shea, Deon Burton and that lad off the film 'Goal' all set to join Barnsley this month #TrustMe Plus the Oldham game is off. Might be something in Twitter facts after all
Taking his personal life out of the equation. He's a very talented young lad. Sam Allardyce said of him at the end of last season that he had a future at West Ham if he could sort his antics off field out, as there is no question over his talent. He scored 6 goals in 13 games for QPR at the end of last year, although he's failed to impress at Cardiff this year. Taking his personal life into consideration, and we'd be fools to even consider him. Reckon Sheffield United would be a fitting move though. From Wikipedia: In early 2011, he received a 12-month referral order and was ordered to pay £1,445 in costs and compensation after admitting two counts of witness intimidation.[51][52] After an assault charge was dropped when Morrison's girlfriend refused to testify, he was convicted of criminal damage for throwing her mobile phone out of a window and advised to undergo domestic violence counselling.[53] In February 2012, Morrison was involved in controversy after posting a homophobic threat on Twitter.[54] He was charged under FA rule E3, which governs use of abusive and/or insulting words including reference to a person's sexual orientation, and accepted his guilt.[55] He was fined £7,000.[56] Morrison was remanded in custody on 31 July 2014 after being charged with two counts of common assault against a former girlfriend and her mother.[57] He was freed on bail after three days in custody.[58]In August 2014 he appeared at Manchester Crown Court entering not-guilty pleas to two counts of assault, one of assault causing actual bodily harm and one count of harassment. A provisional trial date was set for 26 January 2015.[59] In November 2014 he was found not guilty of the harassment charge of threatening to throw acid in the face of his ex-girlfriend and have her killed after the Crown Prosecution Service withdrew the charge.[60] What a lovely chap
Neither do I but as i've said before we've not been a family club for years with some of the guys we've signed so it wouldn't be a shock if he joined us.
