Funny old thing isnt it.

I said a player was playing bad today and got hacked down (on twitter mind) yet some on here get nothing compared to what i was getting on messages.

 

Its certainly a game of opinions. Some on here are posting that Lita had a good game whereas I thought he was poor.

 

Hye put him self about and thats it, workrate was brilliant just didn't do enough with the ball. mind our midfield lost it everytime they got hold of it.

 

Mate, you tweeted that George Smith was ****.

He's 17 years old, his home debut, and from what I was hearing he was playing well considering.

Course folk hammered you for it.

 

I dont mind people calling me and idiot it was the 2-3 'fans' that gave me threats. im going to give him time, at that moment i thought he was playing ****

 

As Andy as said if you tweeted that one of our young academy lads was playing **** did you really expect anything else?

 

The two kids at full back and the heart of ramage are the only things which mean I will no doubt dip my hand in my pocket again next week for the visit of Yeovil.

The rest were a disgrace today, with the exception of lita.

I don't mind if they're crap and outplayed. When no effort goes in, and the opposition win two nil after never getting into second gear, never mind out of it, and nobody seems to be bothered, then I get annoyed. Today was unacceptable.

 

I thought Smith played well today. The whole back four did.

Smith was far from ****. Played pretty well from a defensive perspective, especially given Jennings didn't exactly offer much help for most of the game. His distribution was pretty poor but the same could be said for far more experienced players in the team today.

 

FWIW I thought Smith was outstanding for a teenager making his home debut v a team from a higher league. He applied himself to his defensive role superbly. He got done a couple of times but if we can't cut a lad in those circumstances some slack then it's time to pack in.

I thought Jennings offered him plenty of support to be fair but they were done with 3 on 2 especially int first haif.

Mmm, I don't really understand this social media thing. As far as I can see, Facebook is all 'me, me, me' whilst Twitter is a mixture of that and people getting kicks about being able to communicate 'directly' with famous people, of which you appear to be guilty. But from what I saw on clicking on the link above you didn't say someone was bad today, you called a 17 year old playing his first game at Oakwell (and playing well, I thought) ****. Whereas death threats are a bit harsh, although I couldn't actually see what you were referring to, I think you were asking for a bit of stick. Or is it okay for you to call someone **** and for nobody to bring you to question?
