Thought they performed stoutly today. Holgate, Smith, Ramage & Nyatanga, all did as well as could be expected.

I'm not gonna dig at the defence for that result today. When you have such a spineless, inept midfield and front two ahead of you, the ball is only gonna keep coming back, and it's only a matter of time before one goes in.

Agreed, I said anyone of the back four could be given the man of the match and they'd deserve it. Shame about the rest of the team.

Defence were good today they would have half a chance to keep a clean sheet with a half decent midfield should defend from.the front

he's a youth player though. you've got to give him breathing space. allow him to learn, and to make the odd mistake. the defence wasn't the reason for us losing today. i think they did fine, personally

Agree. Thought Nyatanga was the best of the bunch today, and has played well for quite a while now. The gap in class was huge. Boro instinctively knew where the next pass needed to go, we have to have a look. All down to player quality.

Agree with that. His passing let him down but I was impressed with his defending. He put in a couple of dangerous crosses and it was a shame no one was busting a gut to get on the end of them
