Blame? Why do you always need someone to blame? if owt goes wrong at home or work do you need to always blame someone? Why not just post your opinion on what you see, and then suggest an alternative or a solution if you feel the need?
How do you know he's not doing anything about it. In his interview this week he said he was looking to bring a CM in. It needs to be the right one
Seems like an ongoing malaise to me, pal. I repeat, I'm not sure there is anyone better than Danny (that we can afford) at the moment. But something is clearly rotten in the state of Denmark.
We are paying the price for a complete lack of leadership and direction from "the top" since promotion from L1 last time., for whatever reason We now appear to have some idea and some structure and we have a decent manager. It's going to take time to turn the beast
The key word is "seem". I.e. there is no evidence we have anyone in this role lined up. And when you consider it was a defficiency that was apparent at the start of the season (and probably for the previous five or so seasons) then the confidence that it is being addressed must remain low. Then again, Whitey has connections......... and is dropping hints!
A decent manager in your view. Nothing in the last 12 months that's happened suggests that is true. I'll give him to the end of the season
See my response in other post It's your view too to give him to end of season! His record as a manager says he's decent
Sorry but he has never hit the heights of 2 decades ago and never will My view of course and others will disagree All I want is progression as a club. Under Wilson we are no further forward than 12 Months ago Sadly
We've had no progression since promotion from the division last time... Bigger issues than Wilson IMHO
Danny is the answer long term but some of his players need to take a long hard look at themselves and make an honest assessment about whether they are committed to this football club. I don't think all of them can say yes without their nose growing. Those players need to be kicked out of the club at the first opportunity.
You watched the same match as me... goalie & back 4 excellent, given the opponents & something to build on there. The 2 young full backs outstanding. Ramage heroic & Nyatanga good too. Hemmings & Lita total sh!te. & only Berry & Jennings looked up to it, apart from Hourhane's shot, that was tipped over by the keeper & given as a goal kick. As the barnsley fans were all asleep no one really noticed. Things need to change. I'm behind Danny, but we need 3 permanent signings in the next few weeks, or it's squeaky bum time.
I sit at the back of the Ponty, directly behind the goal and I didn't think the keeper touched it. It looked like it just hit the crossbar. I'm not certain but that's how it looked.
We were up towards the away end of the East so, I think you had a better view then.... Wishful thinking. Hourihane was **** other than that shot. He can normally hit a dead ball, but his first half free kick wouldn't have got past my 13 year old, rather overweight Jack Russell Terrier
