Could be viewed as panic signings. Young lad with no experience and another one who has hardly set the world on fire. Wish we would go for quality over quantity.

Not having a pop, but what type of player would you like to come in?

He'd like anybody other than anyone Wilson signs. There'll be fault with them all.

Lalkovic was brilliant in this league last season.

Maybe it's the start of a shake up?

These deals happened first, maybe look a little strange (to some) taken in isolation but, once the outgoings and further deals are taken into consideration, it makes sense in the end?

    just a thought

To be honest I'm just glad we have got some different players recruited.

Let's hope they make a difference because if they don't Wilson will have nowhere to hide.

I'm guessing he'd like some experienced pros to help along our own young lads rather than bringing in young lads from other clubs to play with our own inexperienced young lads :)

And how do you know these players aren't quality?

Get down to oakwell and watch them before you write them off?

If I were to say you were crap at your job I would be guessing and would only be able to judge if I saw you do your job and understood the tasks you were undertaking. Apply the same logic to new signings and you will be able to form a more informed opinion

I'm keeping an open mind. But I'll be ultimately holding Danny Wilson responsible for the quality that comes in. For good or bad.

Experienced pros are pretty hard to come by. Ones that are actually committed to the cause are anyway.

Yes we have our own young lads, but if they aren't ready for first team football right now why blindly stick by them and play them just because they are our players? Their time will hopefully come, but if a premiership club's young player is better placed to help us right now then lets give them a go.

The lad we signed on an 18 month contract has experience in this division so not sure he fits into that category anyway..

I'd not expect more experienced pros to be let go until the end of the month anyway. Looking for stuff on George Waring I did chuckle at how good the 4th down poster was at predicting the future 18 months or so ago.......

Who do you suggest we sign?

What do you describe as quality?

How do you know the 4 young lads we've signed aren't quality?

I agree we need a bit more experience in the side, but why knock 4 promising young players before they've even kicked a ball. I've seen 2 of them play to my knowledge and both were the best player on show in the respective games.

Who would I have gone for? Players with games behind them. Alex Revell, Tom Pope (if not injured) Keith Andrews. If Lalkovic is indeed a winger how many do we have? Jennings, Tracey, Kiwomya, Lalkovic, Noble Lazarus? As with previous managers we collect a certain position like some people collect stamps.

I doubt we could afford the left leg of any of those players you mention.
