................Cardiff have ditched the Red Strip and returned to the original blue

Poor move by the fans that caused this in my opinion.

The Red Dragon is the colour of all Wales

The blue strip of Cardiff starts and stops on the boundary of Cardiff

Just thought there was an obvious link there between Jays 'Blue bin day'..........and a subject that has been mulled over on this message board over the years

Cardiff binning the blue for the red........and now binning the red for the blue

It wasn't mulled over, you wanted us to change our name to Yorkshire Tykes and everybody else In history ever, said it was the most mind numbingly **** wit of a suggestion ever.

    You remember it then?

I still think it would be a great idea - and I will put the theory forward when I see Ben or Pat

If we want to move Barnsley FC forward then changes have to be made.

Its dinosaurs, people that cannot change with the times, that get left behind

This sort of thing in the USA is common place. They don't just change the colour of their shirts over there - they can also change their name and even the city they play in. Money counts. And we should be changing things at Barnsley to attract more support and money

Obviously I wouldn't want Barnsley FC to move away from its present location (easy walk from the TARN centre pubs see).............. :)

The last thing I would want my club to be modelled on is anything in the slightest american. If you really believe a name change would work then you're absolutely barmy.

Would we have to play in White, blue and yellow then (Yorkshire colours)?

That tw@t Gary Hetherington of Leeds Rhinos and leeds tykes has now changed the rugby union teams name to Yorkshire. What gives him the right to use the whole counties name for his City club. Still ******* hate them.

Surprised........because I would have thought you, being a big follower of USA sport, wouldn't find moving the club on less troublesome
