normally but he had a decent game today, just need to play against 10 men every week

No but seriously he put himself about today and looked mobile for a change, made some forward passes and some good tackles & interceptions and seemed to be able to read the game

Maybe he just needs game time to come up to speed.

Why do that? I suppose it's infuriating when you write a young player off unfairly and it turns out that you were wrong?

Probably the best game I've seen Digby play. Apart from that one horrible pass he played, I thought he was good. He got stuck in and used the ball pretty well, moving forward regularly.

He was toss vs Middlesbrough but much improved today.

He's got the skills just needs the game time to learn and progress. If we could give him 15 games in a row you would see then if he's got what it takes or Not.

He's had one good game pal out of about 15/20 games I've seen him play in

Thought he did OK today looked more confident than he normally does and tried to spray the ball about although majority didn't come off he made up with his tackling and tenacity IMO.
The potential was evidence t today and if he can improve on it I feel we have a very good player on our hands.

Entitled to your opinion. Mine is that the boy is class and, given time and opportunity, will show how utterly ridiculous some of the criticism he's had on here really is.

Or allowed him to play in his proper position. Don't think he needed a kick up the arse actually.

Pearson didn't give him a kick up the arse he just allowed him to play. Pearson did a lot of the tracking back and tackling leaving Digby free to play his game. I thought they played well together and their understanding developed as the game progressed

I haven't seen him play for ages and didn't recognise him. I said to my mate early on 'Who's that No.14, he looks useful'. I honestly thought we'd signed someone else that I'd missed. It wasn't until someone shouted 'Tha ****in' useless Digby' in the second half that I realised who it was.

Well played Digger and the boys... Good overall performancevfrom a very young side. Dissapointed to hear jeers every time digger got ball from some in the crowd... Another 90 mins under his belt.

He improved in the second half and ended up having a pretty decent game.
