    Hi all,

Does anyone know the correct closing time of Redfearns for a 3:00 kick off?

In the past if we turned up at 2:30 or later we have always been told it was closed by the steward. With this in mind we turned up at 2:18 on Saturday but the steward told us it was closed, not a problem, I appreciate the volunteers need time to tidy up and get to their seats before kick off, could just do with knowing if the closing time on Saturday was a one off or is there a new closing time?

Redfearns has been a god send for us, my Dad is not in a great way and so this season we have started driving to games as he can't walk to matches any more, so we have been getting their earlier than normal to make sure we get a parking space, Redfearns has been a great place to keep my Dad warm prior to kick off....and keep him happy with a pint!

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work at Redfearns!

I think it's 'closed' because it's full - strict on numbers allowed in. They were still serving at 2.40pm when we left there on setdi.

I think there was some confusing between being full and being closed. It was full at 2.06 on Saturday. Last entry is before 2.30 if it isn't full. Capacity is only 150 is the problem.

That would explain it, the Steward did say he was new and it was his first time on the door.

Thanks for clearing this up guys.

In my experience it's easier to get in to Fort Knox than Redfearn's bar.

I've probably over egged that some what.

That's because we've got your name listed on the door under 'do not let in'.

Somehow Thereev slipped under the radar the other week.

And yes, you've over egged it a touch.

I've really enjoyed my visits. However, you have to put up with persistent mickey taking from the volunteers in there!

In your case I don't think it's exclusive to the volunteers in there. It's a more general thing.

Have a nice day though. :)

I arrived at about 2.15, just as a group of five were leaving. The two guys at the door said I couldn't go in because they were trying to get people to leave so that they could close down. It was a long cold 45mins to kick off.

You wanna try being Scottish, asking for a pint of Tennents and trying to pay with a Bank Of Scotland tenner.

    Nightmare I tell you, Nightmare. :( :D
