As a big fan of his, I'm gutted. Considering we're saddled with Lita and Treacy, it's even more galling. Good luck, Reubs.
I've rarely so badly wanted a player to do well, perhaps because he was seemingly on the verge for a very long time Disappointed
Good luck to him, never thought he was good enough personally. Then again none of the managers here wanted to play him in his right position.
it's a shame, but it's the right thing. you just don't have that long to break through nowadays. stones, holgate, smith, bree, abbott, digby have all shown if you're good enough, you should be making the step up in months, not years.. if anything, maybe he suffered from being thrown in too soon good luck pal
I reckon so. It hasn't worked out, and a move is best for him, and to a club/manager who will no doubt develop him etc. A change is as good as a rest. Or summat. But I'm not having folk (not you, pal) saying he failed because he's "like Keith Treacy". He doesn't drink for starters. And he can see his own ****.
Typical Keith Hill signing. A player he doesn't even play, like when he brought Done to Barnsley. One 4 minute substitute appearance in the last month and then he signs him? Bizarre.
He's been injured, then ill, mate. Horses mouth. To be fair, I've not been in touch for ages so I assumed he'd been dropped or whatever myself. But seems not. Which would make sense if they're signing him now, having sent Cywka back to Blackpool. I fancy them for the playoffs now. They need a centre half. Keith loved Martin Cranie...
