I'll give you that though. He has done. 233 minutes more. 11 starts to Lita's 9 (in the league).

But I'll go back to my first point. It's like asking for toothache or earache.

17 games without a goal. He's started 5 of our last 8 games. Sooner Winnall's back the better.

How can it be clueless of me to state facts?

The two players referred to by the OP have very similar records this season in the same division.

The two have represented Barnsley. Both have failed (albeit one a level below the other).

Pray tell me why you think he's so good then, Mr Clued Up.... :nails:

Litas hardly failed has he. Hes only just started his Barnsley career.

Yet you rave over RNL who has definitely failed.

Just for clarity, I'd choose Lita, but he has been a massive disappointment so far.

I've often thought RNL warranted a sustained run here in the side. I've seen glimpses of undoubted ability. I haven't raved about him. I certainly would have preferred him in our squad over a Lita or Treacy. Same goes for Danny Rose who we sent packing.

I haven't seen glimpses of undoubted ability from Lita.

I'm not arsed what he achieved in the Championship with Reading or whoever, years ago. I'm only arsed about what they offer us. Same goes for Treacy. What they once achieved means nowt now I'm afraid. Take Kev Richardson for example. Always impressed me. He joined us and was a shadow of the player I'd watched for Villa, Everton etc.

You can argue with me all day, but 20 appearances, 11 of them starts, at this level, I expected a lot more and your excuse "he's only just started" etc doesn't wash when folk write off young lads like RNL, Hemmings et al who've had less chances.

I've created a Lita thread. I'd like your considered opinion on why you like him. I value your thoughts.

Clueless maybe, but I'm not getting into name calling on a forum with you. I appreciate everyones views. I don't agree with them all though, and don't understand folk who get arsey about it.

Obviously Lita was better than Nouble in his prime but right now Nouble is a lot better player than Lita.

Nouble will never be anything special but he's improved a fair bit since we had him on loan.

Also worth noting for those comparing statistics that Nouble's been playing out wide where as Lita's been up front

Nouble would've been more use than Lita to us due to his physical attributes to play as a target man. We've been using Lita in the same way and he just can't do it. Been very disappointing for me. Missed a sitter at Preston and other than that has barely even mustered a shot in goal. I think even Nouble would've fared better.
