I've just cheered myself up watching The Big Bang Theory. It hasn't been reight funny but Bernadette's norks - wow.
I am set in the slime of the depth; and there is no substance. I came into the depth of the sea; and the tempest drenched me . I am sinking in the slime of the depth; and there is no firm ground beneath me. I came into the depth of the sea. Same position this time next year? Will be Fine and the year after and after and after
It better be working this time next season! Then he will have had 2 years to turn things round. Hopefully after last Saturday we ARE turning the corner
We are competitive aren't we? We're mid table, 7 pts off the top 6 with a game in hand. You make it sound like we're rooted to the bottom.
I sincerely hope 2015 brings a better standard of product for our supporters. 2014 ANUS HORRIBLIS however you spell it
I think we can ALL agree that's what we would like to see. Some won't be too upset if we don't however.
That's true our fanbase used to be far more ambitious. Nowadays alot of it are just happy plodding along.
So, who is being attacked in this thread. Only it started off being all Danny's fault and now it has turned into Bens fault. Looks like two snipers looking for a sniper or perhaps a pair of jilted lovers looking for someone to blame. Perhaps you both simply let your expectations get ahead of your experience. Either way, just be patient and wait for the plan to play out. The club is putting its money on a youth policy so that it can stay within the FFP rules. The plan will not bear fruit in the short term, but there are plenty of us who have the time, the faith and the hope that it is the right plan in the medium and long term. I hope that you do not get the chance to rub my nose in it in the long term because it will mean that the plan has failed. I certainly will not rub your noses in it if the plan succeeds. I will be far too happy for that.
I will not rub yours in it if it fails. I sincerely hope we succeed but at the moment it's not good enough. Mid table now this season will do Next season it Will Not do for me but if your happy ticking along as it's been this season then fine. That is your prerogative
Listen, I'm a fan of Danny and I'm all behind the youth policy and 'building'. My problem is the huge number of players we've been signing, a lot of them loans. Short term ones at that How can signing so many short term loan players be considered building? How? I understand that it's part of the game and teams sign loan players, but Pearson and Kiwomya on 1 month deals? Seemingly when replacements are allready lined up too... Come on now Also, we're signing more players for positions where we all ready have a lot of players, whilst full backs are being ignored
I have the sense and the patience to know that you cannot rebuild a squad I one transfer window. I thought that it would take three windows, but if Ben says 4 windows, then I am cool with that. What we do not want is to go into the Championship again with a team that is not ready. We have seen what that means, 8 years of struggle, to avoid relegation by the skin of our teeth before eventually giving in and succumbing to the inevitable. The next time, we have to go up with a team that is ready, or at least, that the majority is ready. It is not a crime for the management of football clubs to rethink their strategy, and for them to adopt a strategy that will take a year or two to come to fruition. Supporters must try to understand that strategy, and if they think that the strategy has a reasonable chance of producing a successful team, they must be patient enough to keep turning up and support it. Because in the end, that is what supporters do... they support.
