For the last few seasons we had poster after poster saying they were fed up of jus signing journeymen, give the kids a chance. don't care if we lose if we are building something just need patience.
Then we have almost weekly threads saying football is fecked, there's no patience in the game and stuff, and then we get a manager who tries to build a team of youngsters and sticks to his guns despite having ***** luck with injuries to key players and every week its Wilson out fecking rubbish, I've had enough.
Now whichever camp you are in history shows we have panicked too many times and changed manager and direction too soon too many times and it just hasn't worked, so for me just for a change we have to go with the long term approach and trust the manager for once.
Now I'm far from a 'happy clapper' I like some of the stuff he does and don't like others like some of the stupid tactical formations (just my opinion obviously), but we just have to believe his long term aims!

believing in his aims is fair enough. but you have to expect him to then be judged on how far he achieves them

The only aim he should have is picking his P45 up next week.

Did you go today? I must admit i believe in youth, i just think the balance right now is way off. Not enough experience to bring the kids along. The biggest issue for me isn't the players, but the formation & tactics. I have to say i haven't a clue what our game plan was today other than to nullify. I need to see progress, and today was the worst i have seen for 3-4 years.

You can rebuild and blood some youngsters and still put together a team capable of competing in this division. Too many kids, too many inexperienced players, only one result...

Always thought this season would be tough, no matter whom was manager.

I`m in the give him time camp, not because its Wilson, but because the changing of managers too regularly hasn`t worked.

    Backbone needed Mr Cryne.

Perhaps it's not the losing, it's the not taking part which may annoy people. Didn't go today, but according to deer darr commentary mentioned just 1 strike on goal. The posters who have been seem to confirm this. Why we can't put a team out that just rolls it's sleeves up and has go is beyond me. Irrespective of experience.

I am a big believer in this building. I have now built up a nice little nest egg fecking all these away games off.
