We can bury the theory that we are a good side. That's 24 games and we are 3 points from relegation. What is more questionable is whether there has been any progress at all over the last year or more. Or whether there is a supporter-understandable strategy in place that can give us hope, as we inevitably write off this season as bitterly disappointing. People are going to stop going...... if they have to watch a team play like that. I do not want Danny to be dismissed. But anybody can import/pick players, stick 11 on a pitch and get em to do as well as that. Someone please point out where they saw a masterplan in action today.
Progression has been a theme i have been pushing all season. For me i believe in our signings but need more experience to get the balance right. So far we haven't seen any progression, we have just swapped older under achievers with poor performances for young inexperience with poor performances and inexperience. We hope progress means the results and performances will come as their experience develops, just hope its not too late by then.
But poor performances mean the crowd get on their backs, which young lads won't necessarily cope too well with. Wilson is totally naive if he thinks a team so full of young kids will do well in this league, if anything it will do them harm. They need a few older heads to help bring them along, give them some guidance.
