Defending him and not wanting him sacked are very different.

Defending him from not getting sacked is the same thing

the fact is Mr Wilson just isn`t good enough and never has been,he has no big Eric with him now, last weeks game was rubbish, his formation is crap no one keeps the ball for more than 5 seconds, and I cannot see things getting better

No it isn't. I won't defend some of the performances this season but I don't want him sacked. We have to plan long term and sacking managers doesn't work.

Mario, you admitted in an earlier thread you didn't go to the match today, maybe if you went week in week out and watched some of that rubbish you may have a change of opinion, Danny as brought in all young players and he will used that as an excuse, he has been backed to the hilt and maybe if Keith Hill was given the same backing we would be in a different situation. Danny is not the way forward everything he does is pretty much clueless for such an experienced manager, change of team and formation nearly every week and we wonder why we languish near the bottom of the table!

So because I didn't go today I'm not qualified to comment on performances regardless of how many other games I've been to. Is that how it works? I don't get to every away game but I don't miss any home games so I think I've seen my fair share of *****.

Wrong. I am not happy with his comments tonight. I think he's made some baffling decisions. I think he's made poor selections on several occasions that have cost us.

I'd rather we didn't sack another manager and go back to square one.

That doesn't make me a Wilson lover, a Wilson defender, it just makes me someone who would like to see some stability at our club.

That is about where I am at the moment. I don't want to sack Wilson because I see it as a medium to long term project and desperately want stability in the club. But even though I have been vocally behind him from day 1, right now it is getting harder to explain why. Its a medium term project but I feel like stepping back and returning when it starts to bear fruit because it is just painful now. I wont do that, but Christ only knows why not.

Correct, if we had to suffer then so should you! And your punishment is you can't comment alternatively you must suffer the next away game. :D

seriously though, I'm sure the performance was clear for everyone today either through the radio, general feedback or first hand.

Must admit, that winds me up about any manager not just Danny. When we have been ***** I want a manager to go on the radio and say we were ***** and it wasnt aceptable and I will sort it out. Not pretend we were ok. That is when I start to question whether things will change

I said last night that because I was missing the game today that all I'd need to do was read thereevs match report. It all sounds very familiar. I'll take my punishment though.
