Absolutely dreadful performance. There's no way anyone can excuse such a pitiful display. Not one player played well. However, and I know this will anger some, I still back the manager 100% and believe in him. I know and appreciate many don't agree with me. I acknowledge and respect their opinions, as well as their right to voice them. I'd hope this would be reciprocated, but I see the personal abuse has started already. Hopefully, we'll see an improvement with a return to the team of Winnall Cranie, Ramage &, hopefully, Pearson and Scowen can offer us something different in midfield.
I'm still 100% behind Danny. We're going through a very difficult spell but I'm still confident that he'll get us through it and get us going in the right direction. Large quantities of patience needed.
We were never at the races today, Mario. Perhaps I'm a stubborn, old git for backing Danny Wilson. But I'm going to continue doing so.
With Winnall, Cranie, Ramage, Pearson and hopefully Scowen, I think we'll be better but Danny's selection today has to be questioned. His post match interview is just laughable as well. I accept he needs to protect the young lads but still...
Perhaps not, Andy old mate, but we certainly have missed him, in my opinion. I've been told both Cranie & Jennings are being moved on. But I don't know how much credibility can be attached to this, though.
i'm losing faith in wilson,we are no further forward than when he took over.In effect we are practically in the same boat in this division as we were in the championship, piss poor performances on offer most weeks with the odd exception to make us feel a bit better. We managed a win against Yeovil who were bottom of the league and were down to ten men,but today,up against a team not much further up the league than us we were completely outplayed and looked devoid of any ideas. An utterly clueless display. Time for wilson and his team to step up a gear otherwise we'll be staring 4th tier football straight in the eyes.
I admire your patience. Im not calling for Danny's head, but I'm increasingly finding it hard to decipher what the game plan and shape is that we are aiming for. Also i get frustrated that we seem to have no ability to change mid game if things don't work. Maybe I'm just overall frustrated but after today which was one of the worst performances for years, i am unsure where as a team we go next. I am still hoping for progression in a positive manner yet I'm continually let down.
I'd love to claim that my patience is due to my maturity, wisdom and knowledge. But I can't, as I have none of these at my disposal!
Hahaha, well i can at least claim Maturity, the wisdom of Hindsight and as much football knowledge as everyone else on the BBS !!! lol
I'm with you on that! And I agree about the manager - it would be absolute folly to get rid of him now. See what happens for the rest of the season then look at it. But even then, just look at it. I think he will turn things round big time. It's just a question of how long he gets to do it.
Ultimately, Patrick Cryne makes the decision. As I said earlier, I back Danny 100%, even if others don't. I accept their viewpoint, respect it & believe they're allowed to air it without being subjected to cheap, condescending point scoring and personal abuse. I think I, and others who share similar opinions, am entitled to the same.
Of course you are! Trouble is you will never eradicate the personal abuse on forums like this. It's a lack of education (see my post about the vocal support today for further evidence).
