    A stoke fan has told me that he is NOT a target man and that in fact he prefers the ball on the deck.

    So, a bit of a false assumption if you see him as a conventional target man.

    he said in his interview he plays like Crouch so if crouch wants balls played to his feet. he needs to leave stoke. He is a target man. likes throwing his weight about

    From what I've seen of Crouch, he is pretty good with the ball at his feet.

    That's not what a target man is.

    A target man wins possesion up top and holds the ball up. Not simply throws their weight around.

    Jon Macken was one of the best we've had in recent times and he wasn't the tallest.

    Depends really on how much they go and watch the u21's, I remember when he was called a target man in the interview he sounded very unsure in his response
