Because if we win, theres more life at the north pole. If we draw or lose its full of drama queens having hissy fits and several posters (who I suspect are oppsoition fans) poking the fire. All very dull and predictable
Really? I see people who have spent money going to watch their team airing their honest opinion of what they've just witnessed on the pitch. The "Wilson out" comments we get occasionally are tiresome but if I've just seen my team get pumped by a poor team again then I take some satisfaction in coming on here and seeing that most others thought it was unacceptable as well. As for the winning bit, I agree somewhat and there ought to be more of a balance. However, we've lost more than we've won for the umpteenth season in a row, this time in League 1, so it's no surprise you get more negative than positive comments is it?
It was worse than dull yesterday and very predictable. I wouldn't call them drama queens, what I would say is there very disgruntled fans airing their displeasure after paying good money to witness an absolute shocker of a performance. Talking of the North Pole we would have had more entertainment watching a few Walrus's and Polar Bears shuffling about than the tripe on the field of play and it felt like the North Pole in the away end.
Yesterday's, and most performances this season have been totally and utterly disgusting, and I can fully understand why people are having "hissy fits". Yesterday was so boring and lacked any excitement from our point of view, and considering we pay over the odds for to witness that *****, no wonder people want a change.
I scanned the board last night and wasnt suprised in the main. I take note that we were utter tripe yesterday, i also take note that we MUST stick with the current vision and not panic. some posters seem to take great delight in posting their opinions and often its more vocal when we lose. ive no problem with that but i do find it perverse at best that it almost seems to excite them I firmly believe we have a squad good enough to compete at this level, footballers and managers are human beings and try as they might somedays they arent going to get everything right, and finally lets not forget its the VOCAL MINORITY, ie 5% making 95% of the noise about wanting wilson to be sacked. stick with it and enjoy the ride
I'm in the "Danny lover" camp but I can see why there are fans who are getting restless and generally sick of seeing the team play so badly.
I would be suprised if anyone takes delight in posting how crap we are and as regards the perverse bit, well that is an insult to the fans airing their displeasure. Stick with it and enjoy the ride and we may just have League 2 football to look forward to. Enjoy the rest of your vacation
Im not on vacation. aside the fact americans do that im working doing my tiny tiny bit to protect the worlds freedom. and its not an insult at all. you read and post on the this board, if you choose not to notice thats fine. airing displeasure is more than ok, since the dawn of the internet we fans have a multitude of media options to do that, doesnt make it right if someone types it however whatever "side" you are on, myself included. we all want the reds to do well, my post above which i stand by was valid.
My Apologies Pompey' I admire the job you lads do. I just want the Reds to do well also but under this Manager the stats say we are not doing very well hence everyone's displeasure People have opinions and have a right to air them on hear. Its just sad things are as bad as they are.
But when you get that it invariably translates into confidence bashing. Ie counter productive. Can't really remember the last time the crowd played there part in trying to lift the team
Away is a given. Away historically we have always been generally worse. I actually meant at home. Which I should have stated
no need for the apology but thank you anyway, no offence taken we all want the best, i firmly believe it will improve, we have a young talented bunch
Yep the atmosphere has been poor at Oakwell but I can understand why. Once performances improve I'm pretty sure the atmosphere will too.
My daughter said yeaterday that she loved the Marlon Harewood / Jason Scotland season. Even though we scraped relegation, it was the attitude of the players, and the atmosphere it generated. Yesterday supporters backed the players inspite of performance and attitude. The players need to take some responsibility.
