Read through that poll, in fact read through the last 10 posts anything wilson related. It's a complete joke this situation that I find our club in. Also yes, I do feel my view has more importance of those who do not attend the bast majority of games. Why? Because I'm seeing the same thing every single week. Whereas others don't see it yet feel that it's still not Wilsons fault. I remember when flicker was sacked everyone was saying 'I can't work out why he's playing dawson on the wing'. Well what about wilson? Why does his tactics and formations that simply do not work never get questioned? Playing players out of position yet all you hear is 'give him time' sorry pal but it's ********. I spend thousands every year to watch my team, for what? Some nob in charge to get it so wrong it's unreal? It's so clear to every si gel fan what is going wrong! These things are easily fixed yet he just plays a blind eye to the situation.
I was saying much the same last night: In fact, I think I've seen more posts lately that are anti-Wilson because of the circumstances surrounding the end of his first spell than I have ones that are pro-Wilson because of his achievements during it.
Everyone i think is behind the new overhaul and going forward with youth it's blatantly obvious that the 433 formation is not working though and why Danny has not changed it is what's winding a lot of people up
The only relevance it has is if it wasn't for that spell the howls of derision calling for change would be much louder than they are now. The Messiah is slowly losing his status.
Absolutely spot on. If we appointed let's say Sean O'Driscoll instead of danny wilson, would the same ones in the 'pro danny' group be saying he 'needs time' ???? Would they chuff! They'd be out for blood.
I would i'm not particulary attached to DW but we need to stop sacking managers every 5 minutes its ***** and has doomed us to consistent poor performances. It was time to stop this and adopt a fresh approach so I would support whoever had been left holding the poison chalace.
Can you really see this side winning 3 on the trot in the league? Bearing in mind we've not done that since February 2013, and only won back to back twice under Wilson? I get where people are coming from when they counter "we're only 4 points off relegation spots" with "well we're only 7 from the play-offs". The problem is that we're much more likely to lose several in a row than win several in a row.
That's a no then is it? Seriously, I still can't find the hundreds of posts from folk who said "I didn't go to the game, but Wilson must stay". I must be in need of a trip to SpecSavers. I disagree that your view is more important. We all support BFC. Well, I say support, but we all want them to do well. Some spend more time/money than others in doing so, and there's a variety of reasons why that might be the case. For example, my grandad never missed a game until he had a stroke which left him paralyzed on his left side. He still supported the club until he died, but couldn't make the games. Your view more important though is it? Bit childish that, pal. I fully support your right to a view, I read yours and everyone else's on here. I certainly agree that the formations at times seem unsuited to the players selected. I totally understand the criticism going in Danny's direction on many matters. I see it. I understand it. I just don't see the need to repeat the same rhetoric within every post I make on here, unlike the good Dr... I want us to do well. I don't think constant bairning on here helps support that happening. My opinion. Less valid than yours it seems, but there it is.
I've posted on here a fair few times (as recently as last night) that were this any other manager in charge he'd have been sacked by now. I think those in power are finally willing to give a manager years, rather than months to get it right. The fact this manager has proven he can build over time will be adding to their faith in him. But yes, you're ignoring the fact I'm fully understanding the views of you and others who want him gone. I'm seeing the same things. But, I'm seeing positive things too that you mustn't be and, I've been wanting us to stick it out with a manager for years. Gutted when Robins left. Gutted Keith had to go. Was disappointed that the club sacked Flicker so soon.
Can I just point out in the general mood of depression from some on this BBS ... It's not the players? It never is, is it?
I go to pretty much every home and away game (missed 2 this season after not missing a game for 7 years) and don't think my view is any more or less valid than those who don't. In fact I think sometimes the closer you get to something the less clearly you see it. Those who never go you may have a point as they are in no real position to judge either way but if you go tosome matches you can make an informed judgement. I have spoken to very few people who think that sacking another manager is the way forward both at Oakwell and away from home. The past is irrelevant due to sacking shed loads of managers our options were limited when we appointed DW and I thought his appointment was a reasonable one having already by mid November accepted that relegation was imminent and we should build for long term stability. We need to stop thinking sacking managers is in any way a successful way of doing business
Clearly not looking very well pal, must be a bad case of selective vision... i read it all over this board constantly. Provide hundreds of links? Not going to happen... they're all there for people to see, I remember the same with davies at Fleetwood... The lad kept a clean sheet yet it was 'I didnt go but davies is *****'. It's the mentality of many on this board, it's a punchline for a lot of those who go to away games but I enjoy this board and I don't see the problem with it, I just can't see how people can have a valid reason for commenting on something they haven't seen. Also, I know habits are hard to break but adding little sarky comments like you do doesn't make your points valid. It may work with clowns like Hemsworth who you'll get a reaction out of but not the more level headed posters.
Re: Can I just point out in the general mood of depression from some on this BBS ... The players aren't blameless but who recruits them? Who sets up the team for each game ? if their not up for it then why is that? All i'm aware of is were too close to the relegation zone and unless we get a grip we could end up in it
Can I just point out in the general mood of depression from some on this BBS ... Which of the past four managers would you have kept?
