But Leeds, Blackpool, Charlton and Wigan have all changed managers. Why are they still losing??? ;)

Birmingham, Crystal Palace and West Brom have changed their managers. Seems to be working a bit better for them.

Yet history shows that BFC's policy of changing managers hasn't worked.

It can do short term, what do you want to do, change manager every month?

Of course it has. It worked when we replaced Anderson with Wilson (forced admittedly), PHart with Ritchie and Davey with Robins. I'd say it also worked (in the shirt term) when we replaced the Berk with Flitcroft.

It's also been a resounding failure at times.

How do we know it's short term gain?

I think you're in a massive minority with that comment!

I'll give you Birmingham. It's not a fluke turnaround that one. But they were massively underperforming under a ***** manager before Rowett arrived. They even loaned Brek Shea. Oops. I've just nailed Danny a bit there... :D

But WBA and Palace have played how many games since their latest (in a long line) change in manager? Bit early to suggest they're doing much better. And the two in charge prior were ***** managers. Clark, Irvine and Warnock? Bloody hell. Sooner employ Flicker again.

Short termism is what you're after, James. Always is. Because as night follows day, you'd be digging the next BFC manager out as soon as we lost games again.

You're entitled to act as you like, but look at the posters agreeing with you and then think on, mate. You're a negative bugger, you dunt half see an empty glass, but I like that about you. But usually, you're not daft. Your Lalkovic post is verging on Tyrone territory.

I'm not after short-termism at all. If you look back you will see I was one of the biggest supporters of Mark Robins, I thought we were making progress under him and I wanted him to stay long term. I wish he was still in charge now. I just thought Davey and the Berk were useless and didn't hide the fact.

I was pleased when Wilson got the job but it's been appalling so far and I am not seeing any signs of improvement. The club have asked for my money, they've got it and I'm giving them my feedback.

And what delightful feedback it is, James. :)

I know you were a big Robins supporter. Me too. Can remember getting told about it and feeling genuine sadness/disbelief. Then I heard the story that I shared on here regards the meeting he had with the club re selling Shackell etc, and I could sort of understand both his and the clubs view. But selfishly, I'm glad he went because we'd have never seen Jacob playing in the middle in 2011 and thus I may not have once gone on a night out with pals and bumped into his mam and etc etc.

I'm trying to find a positive in his departure. :)

And it was real fun under Hillcroft... :D

Andy, I've given financial support to the club (like thousands of others) wherever possible by renewing my season ticket every year and going to home cup ties( and away I suppose). I haven't given much verbal support over the last eight years or so because I don't think there has been much to praise. If the club as a whole, a manager or a player does something well, I will say it on here. Like anyone else I have had my favourite players over the years but since 2011 these players have become scarcer unfortunately.

Danny Wilson is a Barnsley legend. There is no one I would like to see be successful at Oakwell more than him. But this isn't working. There's been no progress made whatsoever to my mind. I didn't go into this season expecting to tear the division apart but the football on offer this season has been turgid. I've been bored rigid 90% of the time. I'm only going out of habit and because my mates go. I've agreed to go to MK next week. I have no idea why.

I wonder where we will be in twelve months time?

    MK? Bloody hell.

Not giving that club my money.

    You're a reight fan, mate. :)

I'm working actually. Be at Oakwell the week after though.

I've got a 100% attendance record at MK so I suppose I need to keep that up.
