http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30886004 "With my reputation in ruins I was left with no club or contract in the summer and if it was not for Keith Hill (Rochdale manager) and Rochdale football club I don't know where I would be now." Erm, you'd be at Barnsley, pal, we offered you a contract...
What a piece of work. His comments recently have shown a lack of respect for an employer who stood by him, retained faith in his word and integrity whilst he was under arrest and continued to pay him without any disciplinary action or even suspension when he was accused of a very serious crime which called into question his own faithfulness and honesty to his employer. When said employer showed enough faith in him to re-engage him at the end of his contract, he turned his back on them, yet he now makes out that his pal Keith was his knight in shining armour, rescuing his career from ruin. ********. In fact, this is one instance where the 'Rochdale Old Pal's Act' didn't rescue an otherwise unemployable footballer, as we wanted him too. The man's is giving the 'poor me, poor me, what an injustice' routine, but I for one have absolutely no sympathy for him. He has never been out of employment, and has been paid extremely handsomely whilst charged with what would have been a severe breach of trust AND A CRIME, whereas if the equivalent happened to myself or most of us who post on this board, we'd be sacked without ceremony and on the scrapheap.
I read that as "dawson taking a ****" and I thought, crikey whitey is taking his footballer stalking one step to far this time!
