That's the first time I've heard my school described as quiet It takes a good 2/3 weeks for snow to shift there. All the snow seems to drift into our grounds and it can be an inch or so outside the grounds and then almost up to your knees as soon as you step through the gate.
My wife went off to work an hour ago and isn't due back until this evening. Being totally selfish, I'd have preferred her to not go in. But she wouldn't even consider it. She's a carer and she believes the elderly & infirm she administers to wouldn't receive the help they need if she didn't turn up. It's on days like this when I'm glad i retired.
Left for work from Barnsley to Leeds at 5:50. Sat in office by 06:30 and that included filling car up with petrol and calling at Tesco for snap. Just to add, I don't start until 7am - I deserve a frickin medal me
