Loads to choose from just like the best away days

But I'll go for huddersfield away last season

Or Portsmouth away promotion season I honestly thought we had lost our chance for automatic promotion to the premiership (think we lost 4-2 ) could be wrong though

Grimsby away, lost 6-1 and Rankin scored so that's how bad we were

Walsall away in 2002 with Don Goodman's winner. Lost a game we should have won and it became apparent that we'd sink to the third tier for the first time in over 20 years.

December 1970, FA Cup 2nd Round 2nd Replay lost 2-0 to Rhyl at Old Trafford. November 1975, FA Cup 1st Round lost 3-1 at Marine when we were also bottom of the Football League. No other away matches, in my opinion, come anywhere close to the pain, hurt, embarrassment and humiliation of being at those games.

I was at the Portsmouth game, it was 4-2. Strangely it didn't make me think we'd miss automatic promotion, I thought we'd played pretty well and Wolves would slip up. Which of course they did against Grimsby.

    Oh go on then.

Coventry 2011/2012 season. Went on my own on the train as no-one else fancied it because of our record there which was bad enough, took the piss getting to the stadium after an already arduous train journey, and we then proceeded to lose 1-0 in the final seconds to a scrambled goal 3 yards out from Clive Platt following the worst game of football I've ever seen.
We've been as bad against other teams when the opposition has been better, but this was two teams who were on poor runs (Cov had been bottom 3 all season), didn't look remotely bothered about attacking, couldn't string two passes together all afternoon, in a third-full bowl of despair in the middle of a retail park. In Coventry. The last minute goal was a minor inconvenience given how annoyed I was at the previous 92 minutes "entertainment".
My connecting train to Sheffield was then cancelled and I had to spend an hour in the colossal wasteland that is Birmingham.

Boy am I glad we missed the chance to go to the Ricoh this season. It is my sincere hope that it is carpet bombed and the remains nuked from orbit before we have to play them there again.

I remember a game a couple of years back at Leicester Cheese and Onion Stadium when we never attacked them in the 90 minutes, I remember Devaney getting the ball near the half way line and immediately turning back towards our goal instead of looking for a forward pass or beating his man. I couldn't say whether it was his fault or not but the whole approach to the game was negative and of course we lost.

I also remember a grim visit to Swillsbro in the 80s when I sat with a Wendy fan mate, I suffered abuse throughout the match from the Wendys (not good humoured banter either) and some git snatched my scarf and dropped it in a muddy puddle on the way back to the car.

I was there, luckily it was only a 30 minute drive home to South Derbyshire. 2008/9 wasn't much better when Cov got a last-minute penalty for some imaginary hand-ball to draw 1-1 after Boggy gave us the lead.

Huddersfield away last season was a real low point in my 18 years watching BFC.

Wolves away early 90's, a was only about 8/9.....we were 3-0 up and Steve Bull scored a late late equaliser, I was absolutely gutted even at that tender age.

A think Nicky Eaden scored that day but a cant remember who else did, any ideas anyone???

Admittedly not been to many, but the ones i have been to have been pretty amazing; Huddersfield, Sheff Utd when we relegated them, but the worst was probably Leicester a couple of year ago when we lost 4-1. Good game overall but not a good result
