I can only wonder where we'd be with a decent midfielder who wasnt just rated because he's scored about 6 penalties

I haven't seen the last two games, but I've seen enough over the season to understand the feeling of disappointment. The good displays are few and far between. Certain players' performance levels have dipped. We've seemingly still no set system or way of playing.

So I do appreciate the obvious feelings of negativity that many of you on here are sharing.

I disagreed in August with the signings of Treacy and Lita. I thought Danny was a dick for allowing Hassell to leave. I don't think Danny did a very good job - in testing circumstances - last season. So I'm not the Danny-loving, happy clapping supporter some attribute me with being. I get labelled with that kind of nonsense for having the temerity to question the rationale behind sacking yet another manager at the first sign of trouble.

I would be saying this were it Neil Warnock in charge - we must stick with it.

Maybe there isn't a long term plan, maybe I (and others) are daft and easily led. But I'm assuming there is one, a long term plan, a strategy, a vision. We're in transition. Much as Bristol City were last season. I think we should hang fire, and judge Danny, his players and that long term plan next season. If then, after the summer window and squad pruning etc we're still bottom feeding after 10 games or whatever then fair enough.

For further clarity, I'm not keen on us loaning players full stop. Never am. I'd send em all back apart from Ramage.

M'Voto wouldn't be at BFC if I was in charge.

I'd have had Hassell here this season, holding role, captain and coach.

RNL wouldn't have gone, nor Rose.

So am not simply loving Danny because he did what he did in the 90's.

I just feel another managerial change would make little difference and financially it makes little sense.

Let's face it though, we aren't pap because RNL and Rose aren't here. And not that convinced Hassell would have made so much difference

Perhaps he would have added that missing level of leadership cos as sure as **** is **** they are sorely lacking

And the loans thing, without them we'd struggle to field a side! That's a consequence of stagnating since going up

Can tell you haven't been to the last 2 games , Turnbull apart Mvoto has been our best player

I would have expected as much or more output from RNL and Rose (if given the same run of games) that we've managed to coax out of Treacy/Jennings and Lita.

Hassell would have been bang on in so many ways, in my opinion. John Stones called him an inspiration. How we could do with that kind of presence at Oakwell now with the young squad at Danny's disposal.

I've never liked loaning so many players each season. The fact our club always make a point every summer of telling us we won't rely on them serves only to add to that dislike of loans I'm afraid because as sure as eggs are eggs we're reliant on loans every season.

The club needs to STFU because unless something changes soon they are a fact of our footballing existence now. No escaping it.

    If I had 4 shits today, I wouldn't pick a best one.

My mate txt me from MK at 5pm. Said M'Voto was to blame for both goals. I've read as much in the media reports, and on here from those who attended. I've also watched him over 18 months at BFC and feel able to fairly judge him as an asset here. It's my assessment he's not very good. Often he's ****.

I've tried to erase that season from my memory but at least that season we had the excuse of being in complete turmoil with administration.

    Danny:

    - Where's Cranie? Defensively we WERE not doing bad, now we seem fragile and prone to more errors.

    - Why are you p*ssing about introducing that kid from Wycombe into the team? We need more work in midfield and he's more experienced than most of the kids we play every week.

    - Why are we sacrificing our own youngsters to give first team experience to other club's players like George Waring, who I'm convinced is no better than Oates, but we should be playing Lita - played week in week out his scoring record would no doubt be more than acceptable, who cares if he doesn't run about all over the place.

    - Sign a left back, we've only got one and (although promising) he's not ready for a relegation battle.

    - Your approach in the media, praising the opposition and not saying a wrong word about your own squad is making them think failure is fine, it isn't and I hope you are going to change this.

    - That Einstein quote that people always recite incorrectly, read that.

    - I've heard you're not on a water meter but when it's yellow you let it mellow, that's not on.

The word you're looking for is worst. Not wurst as in sausage, and certainly not worse as in less good; but worst, as in the most terrible.

    Learn the difference. Please.
