watching MOTD at the moment and I see something of earth shattering importance..... shots on target score goals. Perhaps we should try a few, or am I expecting a bit too much.
That and running off the ball to give the player in possession options going forwards oh and passing to players in the same colour shirt
Three out the last four games we've managed 1 shot on target. Against Yeovil, who had 10 men for 60 minutes, we managed 4. We've not managed more than 5 in a game since we lost to Notts County on October 22nd. MK Dons managed 8 against us today. Bradford managed 6 today against Chelsea. Watching us at the moment is not fun.
I'm sure that will change when Winnall returns but I fear the mounting pressure on the side won't help Sam at all. Too many people seem to be relying on him to change things around the minute he comes back. For me we still need a pacey front man... Cole was the exact player we needed. I can't see Kiwomya doing much, he's quick but his ball control is pathetic for a professional footballer. We need a left back and a striker, quickly!
In fairness mate I think we've got a good set of midfielders but they just seem to be miles apart and not on the same wave length. I suppose they will get better over time.
