Maybe I will have to watch the goal again, but my initial thoughts were that he was caught on his heels slightly (due to it being a good ball into the box rather than M'voto's poor positioning) and so he did well to get any kind of header in.

Maybe that views was clouded by how angry I was at Berry's slow reactions to the danger. Berry is somehow one of the more experienced players we have at the moment and he should have done much better.

In his defence, I highly doubt M'voto is match sharp.

Why? He's played every minute of our last 3 matches.

I don't think you can ever blame a single player for us conceding a goal. We attack and defend as a team. Attempting to find who's at fault doesn't help anyone.

    Can't agree with that.

We defend as a team, but people have to win their individual battles and if they don't other players have to be there to help them out. Football these days is so organised/analysed that a goal more often than not comes from an individual mistake rather than a moment of brilliance.

I'm not saying Berry is rubbish and should never play again, but I am sure that Danny will have watched that footage with Berry and made it perfectly clear that it isn't acceptable.

Disagree. If that's the case I blame Turnbull for our lack of goals and Waring for not defending better.

Just watched em again on the FLS. Berry wins a header, gets good purchase on it, but it's headed straight back and BFJ gets little on it and Berry doesn't react in time as Alli smashes it home. I'd say it was harsh to blame Berry. M'Voto's header was *****.

As for the second goal, **** me sideways.

And we only let 3 goals in.2 of which were against a very good side. I'm sure we let a lot more in when Crainie plays.

Yeovil are a very poor side, they had 10 men and he was still lucky not to gift them a goal. Donny have barely scored any goals all season but I will hold my hands up and say he played well. Probably best of a bad bunch that day. And MK Dons, in my opinion, he has pretty much gifted them the two goals through a very poor header (which began with him charging out just before it wtf) and the second goal is very poor from him.

I know he's big and dominant and that's what many reds fans want but his overall game is just not good enough I'm afraid.

If you look back in this thread you'll find me declaring a bit of a man-crush on Big Jean so I'm not trying to lay into him. I was just questioning why JakeWarrior didn't think he would be match sharp given that he's played every minute of our last 3 matches.

    MK Dons 2-0 Big Jean

Nice fella, big and strong, good against an old fashioned centre forward who wants a battle, but unfortunately the lad just can't play.

I doubt 3 games is enough to be fully match fit. Doesn't help when the players in front of him aren't helping. Blaming one player for a defeat which we got dominated in is quite unfair. The 2nd goal is poor from him but Berry should have been more alert for the 1st.
