In the American sense, by which I mean seasons where we've won more games than we've lost.

If you assume, (as it currently is) that this season will be a "losing" season, then the last winning season was the promotion year of 2005-06. So that's nine successive losing seasons.

Before that, 2003-04 was just a winning season (15 wins v 14 losses), then before that you have to go back to Bassett's play off year of 1999-2000.

So - in the last 15 years there have only been two seasons where we've won more games than we've lost. Wow. With that in mind I think it's impressive that we've maintained the support levels that we have.

attendance are slowly going down hill, wont be long before 6-7 thousand a week and who can blame them for not coming to watch a team that dosnt just lose but dosnt put no effort in and are as week as piss?

    Wow.

Perhaps we should change managers more frequently.

Nothing to do with changing the manager, danny can only do so much it the players on the pitch that the problem.

    no effort
    no desire
    no cutting edge
    no communication
no bite (scard of taking a tackle)
    no passion

but then again danny tactics don't help, but i dont think sacking the manager at this point in the season is the answer!

Neither do I, but just hope we aren't pinning all our hopes on Winnall returning. He needs to sort his midfield out 1st - from looking effective both as a defensive and creative unit up to November it looks a shambles currently. Cannot believe how much we miss the energy and 'legs' that Ryan Williams gave us. Wonder if Scowen is the replacement ?

Not even made the squad for the last few games. Another one who'll be out the door.

Thordarrsson and Ritchie the only managers to have a winning season since Bassett...

Pity, because surely in the absence of all other factors, a manager who had achieved that should have been given support to take things forwards ?

Wonder if there any chance of getting Ryan Williams back on loan after his injury, when winnall is back from injury it will take him a couple of games to get back to how he was playing before he was injured, i'd like to see us play with more width give that nana a game or just try something different this formations not working. berry need a rest and we desperately need more experience, you dont win anything with kids.

I think the system we were playing needed somebody like him to cover the ground and workload. Depend how we go forward but yes, wouldn't be upset to see him back with us.

Gudjon only lasted 6 months, so it wasn't a winning season for him. Must have been him plus Hart.

Or him minus Hart, depending on your opinion of Hart.

I'll go with your assessment. My opinion is low. Very low.
