Dawson should be waltzing it in our midfield.
    Good show by him tonight.

We're missing Dawson and so far we haven't replaced him.

They went head to head earlier this season, Berry was commonly thought the best player on the pitch. We won.
Dawson was and still is *****.

Couple of differences . Berry can control the ball. Can pass to another Player on his team and can tackle without going on his arse with studs showing. He was playing non league last season so let's have some perspective on his first season at this level.

Dawson runs around like a clueless **** which seems to impress some folk though.

I like Berry, I think he's been one of Danny's best signings but I'd like to have seen Dawson or a player like him in the team.

I don't particularly rate his constant sideways/backwards passes.

On current form Berry would be a much worst Championship player than Dawson was.

I'd rather have Les Dawson than Stephen.

Plenty of effort from Dawson tonight but he seems to trip over the ball an awful lot.

Berry any day. The lad has made a significant jump in leagues from conference to Div 1, we need to get off his back. We certainly need someone of Dawson's aggression in midfield though at the moment.

Hate to admit it, but I'd chose Dawson over Berry from what I've seen so far...

Not sure to be honest, Les was better at mother in law jokes but Halle was pretty decent at walking out of the sea in just a bikini

Think the comparison is unfair... They're different types of players.

Said on another thread I saw enough from Berry in the first half of the season to know he's a good player, and I'd argue that that Luke Berry adds more to the midfield than Dawson did. For the first few games he played he rarely lost the ball and was picking a lot of forward positive passes.

I can understand that people may not have noticed this because he wasn't getting direct goals or assists but I promise if you rewatch the games from earlier in the year you'll be able to see the number of positive moves that originated from Berry picking a simple forward pass that most others wouldn't. That's why he gets back into the team and that's one of the reasons we went on a good run when he came back in previously.

Think generally a bit of slack needs to be cut to a young player who a good number of people think played well earlier in the year. I know we are not on great form but I'm not sure the constant search for one weak link is useful. Especially when there are a number of other players who, in my opinion, have contributed much less over the course of the season but should have been expected to contribute much more.

Changed my mind I'm going for Halle.
