They should have either have an open to all meeting or a season ticket holder only meeting which are filmed and put on Player/the offical website. A written report should also be available to those uninvited/unable to attend. These meetings should be well advertised online, on the radio, in the Chronicle and on posters around the groud. If they want specific groups such as away travelling supporters or pay on the day etc. these should be open and advertised in the same ways, first come, first served. I think this would go a long way towards stopping the bad feelings that these meetings currently bring. I think it is extremely naive of Ben the way it is currently managed, it may make those select few invited feel special and included but it leaves many, many more feeling snubbed.

I don't think the likes of you are easily manipulated but do they know that?

From the outside it looks like they have set the agendas for the meeting thus giving them time to prepare. They hand pick their audience thus allowing them to control the information released very cleverly. They know what kind of people you all are (the invites weren't random) so know what kind of things you like to hear. The invites themselves make you feel important on a subconscious level so when you turn up you are already in a positive mood and when you get there They have booze flowing and then say exactly what you want to hear and drip the bad news in a very carefully preplanned manner designed to make it appear positive to that specific selected audience.

Now I'm not saying that is the intention but it is certainly how it appears and the solution is simple. Very simple. Make it all public. Its 2015 and the only way they can think of to communicate with the fans is by sitting round a table and asking them to then tell their friends what was said.

Isn't it a very common business technique to use the grapevine to give out bad news therefore reducing its shock value and impact by the time any official information is released widely?

They need to do a Reddit style AMA. If Bill Gates has already sucessfully done 3 then I think Ben Mansford could cope.

    Disagree.

By the very nature of the meetings they will invariably state something which is confidential.

Having a complete free for all over the Internet is akin to Microsoft having an online debate with there competition.

Besides the club don't have to do this. But they are

I just wondered because I recalled somebody (I thought it was you) posted about the behaviour of our fans and that we probably had the highest arrest rate in the country. It looks like whoever posted it was right.
