One of the best player interviews for a long time in barnsley player.

Talks about loanees shout be here to work for the team and consider the other players being in it for the long haul. Interesting how he said "we are still here" when they go back to their clubs and have to perform and make a living. Given he is a loanee I love his attitude and commitment and is this a hint he sees himself staying next season

A reporter from south London wished him luck for next 18 month at barnsley two days before we re-signed him

He's definitely one of the best loan players I've seen here, not just his performances but his general attitude.

It's quite funny (or sad I'm not sure which it is) that he's shown more commitment to us than some permanent players have. Whether that's because he knows he'll be here next season I don't know, but it's still great to see.

I expect him to start today and also Scowan. Maybe outside chance of Winnal on the bench, which would give a physcalogical lift and 10 mins game time for him could be good. All in all I'm actually looking forward to the game although my confidence of a win is still dented right now.

It's weird because technically he is a loan player but I now see him as our player and with his latest interview I think he feels the same way. His contract is up at the end of the season at Palace and hopefully we've already agreed in principle to sign him. Like someone has already mentioned could definitely see him in a coaching role, great model for the youths coming through.

I'd go with this as a fair assessment. You can't help like him but playing wise he's ok no more.

Agree, bang average. But he's the best we've got for now. Seems a good experienced pro too which is what we're lacking.

Definitely on some levels he's our most important player just for the experience and determination and to set our under21first team an example of how to conduct yourself professionally.

I'm commenting on his attitude and commitment really. The whole package more than just ability (he's a pretty good defender too).
