Had my first 'iffy' moment with a muslim today..

Boarding 100s of people onto ships to the Maldives and just dumping them on beeches
Killing their pets
Not letting them return even to see family graves

Just out of interest Whitey, any idea on what basis he's in the UK? My missus, married to a UK citizen for seven years and mother to a British child still has to pass a pretty stringent English Language test to get a settlement visa. Not that it's a problem as you'd barely know she wasn't English if you spoke to her, but even so it's a bit irritating when there are people setting in the UK who can't / can't be arsed to learn the language. That's something that's always impressed me about most of the Poles, how they pick up English complete with a regional accent.

I think with any religious person who makes a statement like that is "yes, but what if I don't? and what if there wasn't any hell? and what if there were no heaven for you to go to? What would happen then? It isn't the belief that's at issue, it's the absolute certainty that he has got it right. Introducing a few more options broadens the mind.

Not a clue, pal. Seriously, of the muslim lads I speak with most were born here, or, have lived here for years. I've never bothered to ask the Pakistani lads how they've got here etc. But you're right about the Poles. The Lithuanian and Latvians are the same. Of course you can tell they're not english when they speak, but their english is very good, they dress as we do, do the same things we do. And they graft hard.

Yeah I take my son every week to church hoping it will build up his hatred, didn't seem to work on my daughter though who went round Leeds of her own initiative at Christmas buying food for homeless people, despite all the years of teaching her about mistrust and hatred. She is a huge disappointment.

In a restaurant in Edinburgh not long back - had no reason to doubt that I was being served by Jimmy and Murdoch. Looked at their badges and they were Tomasz and Mirek. Had to listen so hard to even pick up a little bit of a Polish twang. Also, I've got a Latvian acquaintance in the UK with who speaks spot on English, and Russian with no trace of an accent at all - neither of which are his first languages. This is a bloke who works in a chicken factory.

 

Eastern European people try to fit in with their surroundings and embrace the cultures of the country they have moved to, whiteys mates don't they want to turn the country they've moved to, the same as the shitehole they've left behind.
