Didn't get to see too much of him today but it looks like he could be a good player for us. Tenacious but can also play.
Yep - he seemed to fit in a bit further forward than his "holding " tag, presumably cos of Pearson. Looked a good deal more promising than some of the others parading in and out of the first team. Waring Pearson and Cranie i thought did well today. We still look weak as a team though. 3 points - we'll take all the luck now cos it always evens out eventually.
Thought he was outstanding when on. Did the stuff I expected, but also looked slick on the ball. Pearson had a good 2nd half, grew into it. 1st half I thought he played for Vale. I'd be tempted to start them both on Tuesday and rest Hourihane. But if Mellis starts for them, I'd play all three.
Agree, he looked very good when he came on and I would start him on Tuesday. I don't really understand why he's not featured much more than what he has for us tbh
took him 5 or 10 minutes to get on the ball, but when he did i thought he looked more than comfy. a thinking man's perkins
Scowen looked really good - lively, strong in the tackle and neat in possession. Has to start for me and Hourihane looks increasingly like the one who has to drop out...
