    it were any good. But because it is shlte we have every chance of rising up the table as all look beatable to thereev.

    it ain't refereed to as the pub league for nowt......shocking standard of footy.

    I must admit that considering we've had a relatively poor season so far we're still realistically within reach of the playoffs. It is a poor league and with a bit of consistency we can quite easily rise up it.

    The football we have been watching at times has been poor. It has also been good at times. The results have been as inconsistent as the performances, which is why we are floating around in no man's land. Not really sure what any of that has to do with the rest of the league being bunched up though.

    Because a team who's played consistantly poor like us for as long as we have shouldn't still be in with a chance of the play offs. Win both matches this week and we will all be giddy for the Fleetwood match.

    But all that confirms is that the other teams in and around us have been equally inconsistent. That doesn't automatically mean the standard of the league is poor. It may just be that all the teams are capable on their day and nobody has been able to pull away.

    If the league had 6 teams that were very good and the rest were woeful would that make the league a higher standard..?

    Standard is much higher than last time we were in this league. Many more teams (including ourselves) trying (though sometimes failing) to play football.

    No thanks.

    Last time we were in this division we were one of the only teams to try and play football. League 1 has come a long way since those days. Only my opinion of course.
