    most laptops have webcam and mic built in these days people may not realise. most likely almost all laptops purchased in last 4-5 years

    Mine definitely doesn't. Our school recently got new laptops and sold our old ones to us for a tenner. It's a pretty decent laptop but they were bought specifically without webcams for school.

    Sounds like you do a good job of it from what you mention on here anyway, I'd certainly find standing up in front of 30 kids much more daunting than speaking in a group of adults...not that I'm particularly comfortable with the latter either.
