Surprised to see him take one seeing as CH has claimed that job. But when he wandered down there all the Ponty End rose to him in applause and he reciprocated (same happened to SSW on Saturday.

Obviously all appreciated the job he had done on his full debut and that will have given him a good boost I think.

Looks like a Mini-me version of Alan Little to me. Takes no prisoners, will guarantee ten bookings a season, but 100% effort EVERY match.

Nice to see you here Josh!

Well he certainly tackles like Little used to do. For a lad his size he has no right to get the headers he does either. I just hope that some Third Division clogger doesn't put him out of the game any time soon. Mind you he survived the Fourth Division so maybe he is just too quick for them, or too tough. He went down once near the North Stand end and looked hurt but then suddenly jumped up and limped away. Looks a tough cookie.

Really impressed by Scowen. Definitely more like Darren Sheridan than Alan Little for me, but the outcome is pretty similar. Tough tackling, neat on the ball and a real battler. Just what we've needed and just what the Oakwell faithful love!

If the team announcer is going to persist with calling our French defender "Big Jean ....etc" then it is about time he started saying "and at number nine is Super Sammy Winnall". Swindon used to have a Super Sammy (Parkin) but I think ours is better.

Now there was a player who could tackle, he wouldn't last 45 minutes these days, he'd be booked by ten past 3 and off by half time.
