For a frozen pitch. It could be loads warmer and playable tomorrow. Me thinks there's a hidden agenda, injuries perhaps?

I think you'll find a referee called it off.

It's been barely above freezing for over a week, I very much doubt it'll be "loads warmer" tomorrow to make a difference.

Thanks for that I'd never had know seeing as I've been working in Preston for the last fortnight. Been gorgeous today was working in short sleeves outside, the point I'm making is they should have checked tomorrow morning before making the decision.

Reight. I assume the ref didn't think that temperatures could soar enough in 36 hours to thaw out a pitch that's been frozen solid for over a week and didn't take into account that it's a local derby v.... Orient?

Do you not think a 10 am pitch inspection in the morning should have been the way to go. It almost always is.

A bit embarrassing to mock a club that is above us in the table having spent no money on transfer fees and paying out a budget probably about a third of ours.

If the temperature was forecasted to rise by 10/15 degrees overnight, yes...If they were playing a northern team, yes. Neither applies.

    Re: ridiculous decision

Good news for us. We could be level on points with them if we beat Swindon, and, maybe Orient will be in better form by the time the rearranged game comes around?

Great this innit? Discussing us competing with ickle Rochdale. Bet Conan's pissing himself.

I don't know as much as others but my understanding was Hill always said he refused to use agents who demanded big fees, which seems to be borne out by the facts. Problem is if you're going to stick to that I suppose you aren't going to have many agents available to you given the parasitical nature of them.

I'm in Sheffield. We've had one or two mild days this week. We've had glorious sunshine today.

Yet last week's snow still sits on our lawn, and underneath it the ground is frozen.

    True.

But then you open yourself up to criticism when half your team are represented by one agent..
