As regards Phenix I don't think anyone has seen enough of the lad play to form an opinion. Berry has shown glimpses of promise but my view is he is out of his depth in this league. It was worth a gamble signing him but its time to move on for me
He can only pick 11 plus subs each week. Someone has to miss out. There doesn't always have to be ulterior motoves behind every decision made.
Up until the last few weeks Berry has been one of our better players. He's dropped off recently but he isn't alone in that respect.
Definitely NOT time for Berry to move in my opinion. It's his first season in this league (like a few others I might add) and he got chucked straight in at the deep end. I've seen enough of him to believe he can make a decent player for us.
Berry's been one of our most consistent performers this season. He's only been poor in the last couple of games he's played in. Phenix has made one sub appearance iirc so I can't see that's the case with him either.
Berry had some really good games at times, good idea giving him a break just now though! Phenix needs a big pre-season for me at a full time level before we can judge him. Bulk up a bit and get fully fit and he might be a decent striker at this level!
