If we win tomorrow and make it 5 on the bounce will this be a record for BFC

It will equal a club record for successive home league wins.

And did you say if we lose our next away match it will also be a unwanted record

    If so that's crazy

Doubt they will be many teams do this in the same season

If both of those records are set it must be the first time any club has done it in the same sequence of results? What a strange season

Win at home and lose away for rest of season... 62 points total. Who would take it right now?

I think that would be a respectable total for the season - anything over 60 would do me, hopefully more obviously...

Not going to beat that though are we? I mean, it's ONLY Crawley Saturday and we couldn't lose to them could we? Oh hang on ......

Really - in all our 128 years in history we never managed to win more than 5 home league games in a row - that surprises me

Thought I would check out season 1967-68 when we won 17 and drew 6 of our 23 fixtures in that promotion season.

Having checked we won the last 5 games of that season but then lost the first home game of the next season to Gillingham 1-3... i think !
